Do you sell products through e-commerce? If so, you probably have a lot of questions about sales tax remittance. But, there is good news, there are big changes underway for Colorado businesses that ship products to their customers! The state of Colorado has been hard at work regarding a new online Sales & Use Tax System (SUTS).
During this online session, Rep. Tracy Kraft-Tharp (House District 29) will provide opening remarks and a background/summary of the legislature’s involvement with this issue, Jenn Penn will discuss the work of the Simplify CO Sales Tax Coalition and how to get involved, and Stephen Maguina will represent the Colorado Dept. of Revenue (DOR) to provide a demonstration of the new SUTS that businesses will soon use for remittance. Participants will be encouraged to ask your questions (and share your experiences) with Colorado sales tax remittance.
